Chinese Man Dies Of Dengue In Siem Reap

Siem Reap: A foreigner died at 01:50 am on 23 October 2019 at Siem Reap Referral Hospital in Mondul 1 Village, Svay Dangkum, Siem Reap.

The victim was identified as QIU MINGKANG, a 35-year-old Chinese male, who was living in Poipet town, Banteay Meanchey province. On October 22, 2019 at 22:40, the victim was taken from Banteay Meanchey Provincial Clinic by ambulance to Siem Reap Referral Hospital, according to the medical team.

His condition was so serious that he died a few hours later. The court physician concluded that the victim died of dengue fever. The victim’s body was sent to Wat Teuk Thla, Phnom Penh, pending the decision of the family and the embassy. SOURCE: GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF IMMIGRATION
