As scheduled, on the morning of October 22, 2019, the investigating judge of Phnom Penh Municipal Court, heard a case against an Indian man for making illegal drugs.

GOYAl KARTIK, a 26-year-old Indian man, has been accused of producing products that do not comply with pharmaceutical standards.

At this morning’s hearing, the accused denied the charges.

According to a report from the Ministry of Health, the pills that the accused’s company products were not in accordance with the names, ingredients, and function of the drugs as stated by the company.

The Ministry of Interior arrested the accused on October 11, 2019, after searching and finding an unlicensed pharmacy manufacturing business located at # 621, Street 62, Sangkat Tonle Basac, Chamkar Morn and another in Phnom Penh Special Economic Zone in Kambol, Khan Kambol, Phnom Penh. SWIFT NEWS
