UPDATE: Factory Workers Block Road 5, Kampong Chhnang
Kampong Chhnang: UPDATE: From 7:30 am until 11.30 am on 22 October 2019 in Por village, Chhean Laeung commune, Samaki Meanchey district, Kampong Chhnang, protesting garment factory workers took to National Road 5.
The workers from Jin Yi factory were protesting over pay. As a result of mediation, the factory side agreed to pay the workers their salaries two stages: on October 26th, and again on November 10.
Traffic was blocked for up to 3 km in either direction.
