Laotians In Lightning Strike

Ratanakkiri province: Two Laotian had a lucky escape after being struck by lightning at 4:10 pm on October 19, 2010, at a forested spot in Bac Kai village, Veun Sai district.

The victims were an 18-year-old and a 21-year old ethnic Laotian farmers. They were lucky to suffer only minor injuries and were taken to recover in hospital. KBN

UPDATE: A later reports says that one of the men died from his injuries.
