Fisherman Dies After Knocked Over By Jet Ski

Banteay Meanchey province: A man a fishing boat was knocked overboard by a jet ski, causing him to drown.

The incident occurred at 18.10 on October 20, 2019 at the Serei Saophoan River in Village 3, Sangkat Preah Ponlea, Serey Sophorn City.

Lang Savin, a 52-year-old retired soldier was on the water bringing in his fishing nets before the incident

Authorities launched a search to locate the body of the man which was found at 1 pm on October 21, and handed over to the family to arrange a funeral.

The unnamed driver of the jet ski has been detained pending legal action. KBN
