‘Over 1000’ Chinese Arrests in Year of Co-operation

Phnom Penh: 2019 has seen the “Year of Law Enforcement Cooperation between China and Cambodia”. Over the past year, under close cooperation between the two nation’s police forces, Cambodian police have arrested ‘more than 1,000’ Chinese suspects for illegal gambling, prostitution, online crimes, drugs, social unrest and other offenses, according to the Chinese Embassy in Cambodia on October 17.

After the China-Cambodia Law Enforcement Cooperation Office was established, the two countries’ law enforcement agencies worked closely together to crack down on any crimes that endanger life, property or safety of all people. SWIFT NEWS
