A Year Later Outside Russian Hospital Still A Dump

Phnom Penh: Over a year ago there was a story about large piles of waste being left next to Khmer-Soviet Friendship (Russian) Hospital.

More recently, there has been more posts on social media sharing images of the rubbish dumped outside the hospital in Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh. Many residents said that near the fence of the hospital, rubbish was always piled up like a mountain and the stench is unbearable, comparing the public street to a dumpsite.

This issue has been around for a long time, but it seems no action has been taken. Residents have requested that the authorities concerned take measures to strictly address the issue. KHMERNOTE
