Mondulkiri: Thirteen monkeys were rescued from a wildlife trafficker.

Forces from Keo Seima district intercepted the monkey man on the morning of 5 October 2019. Huy Hua, 34, was driving a Lexus 330 car with license plate number 2R 9247. There were 13 bags of monkeys inside.

Wildlife official Vibol Ratanak confirmed that the man was a known trafficker who they had been searching for. The suspect was detained for court and all monkeys were released in the wild. RASMEI NEWS
