Phnom Penh: On the morning of October 4, 2019, the deputy police chief revealed that a crackdown on a large drug case on the night of October 2, 2019, detained four ringleaders, Chinese, Taiwan and Hong Kong seizing 39 packs of drugs with a weight of 39 kgs in Tonle Bassac commune, Chamkarmon district, Phnom Penh.
The crackdown was carried out by the Anti-Narcotics Unit’s 11th Task Force, in which seized including 35 kg methamphetamine (ICE), 2.98 kg of ketamine and 0.57 kg of MDMA. (*must be linked to this case)
After the arrest, the suspects were sent for further proceedings.
