Scotsman Asks For Deportation

 

Phnom Penh: On 1 October, 2019 at 1:00 pm, a foreigner, ALAN WILLIAM ARCHIBALD WEMYSS (*known as WAYMESS around GSM), a 40 year old male from the UK (Scotland), went to the office of the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Office. He asked for help him return him to his home country because he lost his passport and was unable to renew his visa.

He last arrived in the country in 2016 through Phnom Penh International Airport (*although has been in and out since at least 2011). During his stay in Cambodia, he has worked as a teacher in several schools, but no is jobless, homeless, penniless and passportless.

He was referred to the Ministry of Immigration for legal proceedings.
