Siem Reap Monk Hangs Himself Outside Pagoda

Siem Reap: On September 28, 2019 at 07:20, a monk committed suicide 20m from his pagoda.

Colonel Tep Mae Sen, Puok district police chief, said that the victim, identified as Lam Khon, 51 years old, from Kok Run village, Mukh Paen commune, Puok district, Siem Reap province, and that he had been suffering from a severe illness.

After the body was discovered, the cops went to the scene to examine the body and concluded the monk had committed suicide by hanging. The body was handed over to the family.
