Vietnamese Arrested For Kidnap and Extortion
Svay Rieng Province: Authorities detained two suspects for kidnap and extortion at 10:30 pm on September 23, 2019 at Room 23, Hotel Tep 1, located in Bavet Kandal village, Bavet town.
The suspects were identified as a 34-year-old Vietnamese man, a resident of Hanoi, Vietnam, and a 32-year-old Vietnamese man from Tuc Noc province, Vietnam.
The victim, Nguyen Saing Lun, a 60-year-old Vietnamese man from Ben Puek province, Vietnam, was extorted for 100 million VND.
The two suspects were arrested and brought to the Police Inspectorate Bavet for questioning. KBN
