Icelandic Man Deported from Siem Reap

 

Siem Reap: Police at Siem Reap International Airport Gate Police Station on September 21, 2019, in cooperation with the Siem Reap t Department of Investigation and Procedure, expelled an Icelandic man from the country on board PG-908 (REP-BKK) to Bangkok, Thailand.

Ingólfur Steinar Ingólfsson, a 35-year-old male from Iceland, was given a deportation notice on September 18, 2019, and has been banned from entering the country for six months (*possibly a source error, and actually years).

He was arrested for not having a passport or valid visa in Siem Reap on 20 July 2019. Source: General Department of Immigration
