Bus Driver Stabbed At Poipet Roundabout

Banteay Meanchey:   On September 20, 2019, a man died after being taken to Poipet Referral Hospital after he was seriously injured in a clash at Poipet International Roundabout.

Chhun Ieng Sary, of Angkor Chey village, Tbong Khmum commune, Sangkat Poipet, Poipet, was stabbed in the left breast.

The men worked for Virak Buntham company, transporting passengers to and from Thailand.

The argument broke out at Poipet International Roundabout, near to the border gate and appears to have been over preparing documents for people to pass across the border. Authorities detained the suspect and the body was handed over to the family. POST NEWS
