Woman Caught Taking Ketamine Onto Plane

Sihanoukville: The Sihanouk International Airport Port Police, along with with the Provincial Customs Office at the International Airport, checked a female foreigner and found a bag of white powder.

Authorities said on September 18, 2019 at 4:30 pm, the foreigner, TAN MENG, a 24-year-old Chinese national, intended to leave for China on AQ1010 (KOS-CAN). At 5:10 pm, one bag of white powder was found in her pocket. According to a preliminary test by the Preah Sihanouk provincial anti-drug bureau, the substance was ketamine weighing 0.84 grams.

The woman was handed over to the Anti-Narcotics Office of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Police Office for further action.
