Siem Reap Moto Pawn Shop Raided
Siem Reap: The Provincial Police Commissioner said that the Interior Ministry’s Criminal Police Force cooperated with Police in Siem Reap and surrounded a pawn buisness located in Siem Reap City, finding 56 motorbikes without proper documents.
In the crackdown, the authorities also detained the owner of the place, named Hour and his son, Hai, for questioning. According to the authority, the business was operating illegally and had been raided by police in the past year, but the activities continue.
On September 19, all 56 motorbikes, along with the owner of the premises, were handed over to the Siem Reap Police Inspectorate for questioning. Police will now review each motorcycle to check whether any are stolen. KAMPUCHEATHMEY
