Drugs Raid on Meanchey Dumpsite

Phnom Penh: Authorities raided a dump site on the morning of September 18, 2019, at 9 am.

The Anti-Narcotics Committee of Khan Meanchey, led the district-level security team from Social Affairs, district police and gendarmerie to crack down on drug distribution on the dumping ground in Stung Meanchey commune, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh.

The swoop was done from 4 directions at the same time to prevent suspects from escaping.

As a result 25 suspected drug dealers and 6 drug users were detained.
21 packs of drugs, including 2 large packages were seized and 5 shacks were dismantled and one burned down. POST NEWS
