Boat Hits Kandal Bridge
Kandal: A boat, reportedly transporting sand crashed into the Prek Tamak (3rd pillar) on the afternoon of September 8, 2019.
The Prek Tamak bridge crosses the Mekong River, and links Kandal with Prey Veng province and Vietnam.
The construction of the bridge took about 50 months and cost about US $ 43.5 million. The bridge was commissioned in 2010. SOURCE
