Factory Fire Still Smoldering

Phnom Penh:  It was reported that, as of 8 am on August 24, 2019, the fire at a mattress factory building in Boeng Tumpun I commune, Meanchey district, had not been fully extinguished. The building was completely destroyed in the blaze.

The fire broke out at about noon on August 23, and spread to three adjacent buildings.

The fire did not spread to neighboring houses, however, the authorities temporarily evacuated the area. AREY NEWS
