Chinese Female Casino Worker Suicide

Preah Sihanouk: A suicide occurred at 21:55 on August 17, 2019 in a casino staff building located in Group 30, Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.

The victim was identified as XU QIULI, a 22-year-old Chinese national (*report suggests female) who worked at the Huang casino in Village 3, Sangkat 3, Sihanoukville.

*Initial reports said cause of death was hanging, later reports suggest she jumped.
The victim’s body has now been taken to a Provincial Referral Hospital pending the examination of doctors and scientific police.
