Siem Reap LPG Station Had No License

Siem Reap: The Ministry of Mines and Energy has announced that the fuel station which exploded on the afternoon of August 14, 2019 in Siem Reap, had no proper permission from the Ministry and local authorities. The Ministry of Mines and Energy has been conducting further investigation into the case.

Businesses operating gas stations, especially gasoline (LPG), must have a clear safety standards, and strictly adhere to laws approved by relevant ministries and institutions to avoid the risk of harm to themselves and others.

The Siem Reap explosion caused many injuries, including a policeman and two foreign women, and at least one death.
