Fatal Crash In Kampot Town

Kampot: A fatal accident between a motorbike and a truck carrying sand occurred at 5:50 pm on August 12, 2019 on National Road 3, between Kilometer 151 152 in the village of Andoung Khmer, Sangkat Andong Khmer, Kampot City.

20-year-old Sim Rei and another 24-year-old male, both of Kampot City, were on a white SUZUKI NEX motorcycle riding north when they slammed into the rear of the truck. One died at the scene and the passenger suffered minor injuries.

The truck and motorcycle were taken to the Kampot City Police Inspectorate to await settlement.
