Rain Continues, Roads Power And Water Cut Off In SHK

Sihanoukville: According reports from the coast, rain is continuing to fall on Sihanoukville. The water at Kbal Chhay Dam has overflowed, taking out electricity and caused the entire water supply in Sihanoukville.

The team is looking for ways to repair the damage.

Meanwhile the SEZ in Prey Nub is in danger of being flooded, and water has forced traffic on National Road 4 to reduce to one lane around KM 175. The road is possibly going to be completely closed to all traffic later (Edit: it appears to have been closed now).

Armed forces, including the navy and Gendarmerie are actively rescuing people at risk from the rising waters.
