3500 Runners Race At Angkor Wat

Siem Reap: On the morning of August 4, 2019, HE Dr. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) expressed his warmest welcome to the national and international runners.

3,500 people took part in the 6th Khmer Empire Marathon in front of Angkor Wat Temple in Siem Reap.

3 ,500 national and international athletes competing in the races included 1,584 foreigners from 50 countries, an increase of 15%, while the number of Cambodians was 1,916, up 10%.

The categories include: the 42km Men’s and the Woman’s Run, which started at 4:00 am, the 21km men’s race, the 10km men’s and the women’s 10km and the family-friendly 3km run. Swift
