Phnom Penh: The Olympia Mall management issued a press statement: No fire affected the mall. The fire, which erupted Friday morning, occurred only in a small underground storage depot and caused smoke to rise outside the parking lot to the main entrance.
The Olympia Mall has been reopened so customers can come for a tour and enjoy delicious food.
The fire broke out at 8:30 pm on August 2, which occurred at the basement of a construction site. A source from the Phnom Penh Municipal Police Office confirmed that the fire was caused by an electrical fault. In this incident, fire crews used 32 fire trucks and no one was injured or killed.
