Gold Tower 42 Work Suspended
Phnom Penh City Hall spokesman Meth Meas Pheakdey confirmed that work on troubled high-rise project Gold Tower 42, along Monivong Boulevard and Sihanouk in Boeung Keng Kang I, Khan Chamkarmon, Phnom Penh, has been suspended.
The cessation of construction follows an incident on Wednesday where a car was badly damaged by material which fell from the top of the building.
Phnom Penh authority has temporarily stopped all work at the site to check the safety. TVFB
