Thai Woman Dies In Pailin

Pailin: A landlord called police after a bad smell was coming from a room rented to a Thai female.

Chetak Kotchakorn, a 49-year-old Thai, was said to have quarreled with other Thais who came to the property and had a gambling problem. Police said she spent a lot of time in casinos and was probably in debt.

Her body was found 3-4 days after death, according to the report. Cause of death was given as suicide (*later confirmed as hanging).

Her body was being prepared to transport to relatives in Thailand.
