Coast Put On Weather Alert

On 18 July 2019, the Ministry of Tourism sent an announcement to business owners, tourism operators, services and all visitors to increase vigilance pay high attention around coastal areas and islands.

The announcement came after the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology predicted that the Southwest Monsoon was increasing, along with tropical storm Danas in the Pacific Ocean, now moving in to the east of China.

The low level effects of Danas are expected to be felt in the Kingdom of Cambodia from now until July 21, 2018, mostly in the coastal provinces, central, southern, and eastern lowlands.

The Ministry of Tourism also reminded operators about the safety of national and international tourists, especially along the coast to avoid any possible accidents.
