Angkorian Artifacts Unearthed in Oddar Meanchey

Oddar Meanchey: Mr. Hong Yoeun, director of the Department of Culture and Fine Arts of Oddar Meanchey province on 19th In July 2019, received 2 artifacts from people who dug them up during agricultural work in Khouk Banteay Ampil, Oddar Meanchey Province.

A 51 cm tal and 18 cm wide sandstone statue from the Angkor period (Koh Ker style) and a temple piece, 40 cm high 14 cm wide, were taken to the Department of Culture and Fine Arts in Oddar Meanchey Province to ensure the safety and preservation of national heritage.
