Heads Up! Police Announce Helmet Month

Phnom Penh: Notice to all citizens in Phnom Penh regarding helmet use when riding a motorcycle.

1. Both drivers and passengers are required to wear safety helmets at all times, both night and day.

2. If you do not wear a helmet, the traffic police will stop you and and keep you from going on your journey until you find a helmet.

3. Within one month of publication, there is no cash penalty (from the day July 18, 2019 until August 17, 2019).

In order to protect your life, you and the other people, all citizens must respect the traffic rules.
