Danish Man Jesper Nielsen Sent To Immigration

Phnom Penh: On July 17, 2019, at 14.20, the Office of Investigation and Compliance Office Immigration Office of Phnom Penh Police received a foreigner from police in Psar Kandal 1 District, Daun Penh District, Phnom Penh.

He was picked up for shoplifting at Smile Mall located at 28E0, Street 136, Sangkat Phsar Kandal I, Khan Daun Penh.

Lt. Col. Chea Chetra, Chief of Investigation and Compliance Department, said the foreigner, JESPER VINTHER NIELSEN, male, 37, was a Danish national.

The office chief said that after questioning him, found he entered the Kingdom of Cambodia on 14.06.2019, through Phnom Penh International Airport as a tourist, but was now missing his passport (*something to do with a tuk tuk driver and $30, perhaps he sold it?) and had nowhere to stay.

He was sent to Department of Immigration to carry out the proceedings of the law. Swift
