Siem Reap: (Preliminary information) Authorities say that at 2pm on the new highway of Phnom Kulen, there was a traffic accident involving a tourist bus. Many are reported wounded and have been taken to the hospital.
Update: 12 people (including 9 women and an 11 year old) were hospitalized for broken bones and head injuries. None are thought to be life-threatening. There were 28 people on board at the time of the crash.
Driver Keo Makara, 28, from in Kandal Province is being questioned by police, and the 2004 HYUNDAI COUNTY Phnom Penh 3E 6998 has been taken to the district traffic office.
