Kampong Thom Drinks Boss Sues After Factory Closure

PHNOM PENH : Lim Phorn, the deputy chief of Kompong Thom Chamber of Commerce (pictured right), has filed a complaint against the head of the Anti-Fraud Prevention Task Force, the Ministry of Interior and his associates, claiming $ 1 million in damages after his soft drinks factory was closed.

The factory was shut after a visit on July 10. Hygiene and use of chemicals were cited as the reason for the site closure.
