CP Chicken Truck Smuggling 1000+ Wild Ducks

Kampong Thom: On the morning of July 13, 2019, aon National Highway No 6, the district police force arrested three people in a CP chicken truck which had 1068 live ducks (*not sure what kind, but could be whistling ducks).

Nguon Sothea, male, 38, lives in Prey Sar commune, Dangkor district, Phnom Penh, was detained with two other laborers, named only as Pran and Ni.

Experts said that the animal was transported from Thailand through Siem Reap Province and were heading to Phnom Penh. They were later released on a reserve,
