Timber Oknha Soueng Sam Ol Arrested in Modulkiri

Mondulkiri: According to a senior military source, on 9 July 2019, four people, including timber tycoon Oknha Soeung Sam Ol, were arrested and 40 trucks used to transport wood siezed.

It is reported that the arrests are over illegal logging in the jungles and an investigation is underway to search for others involved, who may be hiding out in remote logging sites, along with further equipment.
