Illegal Otres Construction Torn Down

Sihanoukville Province: The Team of the Coastal Commission of the Administration of Preah Sihanouk Provincial Hall dismantled a Chinese steel structure located on Otres 1 in Sihanoukville.

The massive dismantling operation on the illegal construction began on July 8, 2019, according to officials. Two structures were pulled down.

Preah Sihanouk administration officials confirmed that the two buildings had been illegally constructed and affected the environment.

The construction site, according to officials, has previously been closed down and the owner given the choice to dismantle it on his own.
