Kampot Woman Arrested For Falsely Reporting Car Theft

Kampot: According to the police commission of Kampot Province, on July 07, 2019, cops received information via Facebook that a TOYOTA TACOMA, had disappeared on July 7, 2019.

Based on this information, the competent authorities of the commission investigated and ended up arresting the owner who had made the compliant.

Touch Nary, 39, had a family disagreement with her husband and posted the message that her car was missing in Kampot town.

Now she has been charged with filing a false complaint to the authorities, and wasting police time, violating Article 524 of the Penal Code.
