Monk Attacked With Hoe in Kien Svay

Kandal: At 5:30 pm on July 5, 2019, there was a case of intentional violence in Sdao village, 3, Dey Ket commune, Kien Svay district, Kandal province.

The victim was a monk named Khin Konon, a 34-year-old living in the pagoda. He was injured on his face and right hand.

The suspect named Pak Samnang, a 27-year-old from Battambang province, was staying in the pagoda as a student.

Before the incident, the victim asked suspects to go and buy soap, but the suspect did not go. When the monk scolded the man, he took a hoe and set about the monk.

Subsequently, the victim filed a complaint at the police station and the
