Lady Pimp Arrested With 5 Girls

Phnom Penh: According to the National Police, on July 5, 2019, at 2:30 pm, Anti-Human Trafficking police arrested a female pimp.

Officers were working on order No. 065, dated 1 July 2019 fromSiv Vanny, deputy prosecutor of Phnom Penh Court of First Instance on charges of soliciting prostitution (bringing young girls to sex with clients at guesthouses and hotels). Six women in total were taken in.

Police said that Chorn Navavy, a 22-year-old Khmer woman was the broker and other five were victim, (three underage)

Three were detained at Chulot Rong Restaurant on Street 1986, Sangkat Phnom Penh Thmei, Khan Sen Sok. Three more were found at Betong Guesthouse, Sen Sok.
