New Governor Closes 3 SHK Construction Sites
Sihanoukville: New Preah Sihanouk Governor HE Kuch Chamroeun suspended construction sites in three locations in Sihanoukville, on Tuesday July 2, 2019.
HE Mr. Kouch Chamroeun Governor of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Council personally led a specialist team to inspect the construction sites of three steel structures located at Village 2, Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville.
HE Governor advised the construction managers to stop construction activities immediately to let the Technical Supervisory Team check the safety.
TheIf construction activities continue, the owner of the site will be liable for legal action.
He also visited the Japanese restaurant, next to where the 7-storey building collapsed, causing damage on June 22, 2019. HE Governor instructed officials to assist in reopening the business.
