Truck Driver Runs After Hitting Monk Laden Tuk Tuk

There were reports that six monks were injured, three seriously and a male tuk tuk driver was killed. A truck carrying sand plated KPS 1168 (a right hand drive truck from Kampong Speu) in the direction from Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville, hit the tuk-tuk between KM 148-149 on road 4 at around 9 am on 30 June 2019.

After the incident, the truck driver escaped, and local cops combined with the Royal Gendarmerie and Police from Koh Kong and Sihanouk Province intervened to rescue the victims and handle the proceedings. https://postnews.com.kh/local/456390
