AMK Manager Steals $115,000

Prey Veng: A couple were detained by Prey Veng provincial court on charges of stealing more than US $ 110,000 from AMK Microfinance Institution Prey Veng.

The arrest took place on June 27, 2019 at Village 4, Sangkat Kampong Leav, Prey Veng City.

Somom Anga, 28, chief financial officer of AMK and her husband, Sok Sopheara, 30, a mechanic selling in Phnom Penh, were arrested after a complaint from the branch manager over $115,400 taken from the bank.
