Chinese Gang Released After Victim Drops Complaint
Svay Rieng: A Chinese group attacked a man in Svay Rieng Market at 3:45 am on June 24, 2019, for no apparent reason.
The five Chinese were driving a car without plates near Mokrey Casino in Bavel Village Neang Bavet commune, Bavet city, when they beat up an unidentified person (also Chinese) with wood, causing serious injury to the victim.
The Interior Ministry’s internal force, arrested, interviewed, and sent the men to the Svay Rieng Provincial Police at 3:00 pm on June 24, 2019.
According to a police official, the victim withdrew the complaint. And the five Chinese nationals were released and released at 6 pm on the 24th.
