Brazilian Couple and Old Chinese Man on Over Stay
Phnom Penh: Immigration in Phnom Penh Received 3 foreigners (01 female) of 2 nationalities from local police on June 24, 2019 at 3:00 pm, for lack of passports and overstay bills running into the thousands of dollars.
Police say that YANG YU XING, a 63-year-old male from China, was picked up in Boeung Keng Kang 3, Khan Chamkarmorn, for sleeping on the streets and not having a passport. This person enters the Kingdom of Cambodia in 2015 at Phnom Penh International Airport for work. In 2016 he lost his passport and could not return home.
2. GRILLO LEONARDO GABRIEL, a 35-year-old Brazilian man who’s visa expired on 30.12.2017, owes $ 4,632 after entering Cambodia on 30th November.2017 at Siem Reap International Airport.
3. PIRES SILUA ALESSUZA, a 30-year-old Brazilian woman also came with the man above and is in the same situation.
Currently, three foreigners are sent to the Immigration Department to carry out the procedures of the law.
