Baby Crocs Caught in Battambang City
Battambang: According to posts and a video on Facebook, 3 baby crocodiles were caught on the banks of the Stung Sanke in Battambang town at 5 pm on June 22.
In May, larger crocodiles were caught in the same river, with the unusual presence giving rise to several theories, including a breakout from a local farm.
How theses small specimens got into the water is also unclear. They could have escaped from a hatchery, been released as a prank or even have come from eggs laid in the wild by undiscovered crocodiles. Or the whole story could be a hoax.
