Japan Provides More Buses for Capital

Phnom Penh: The Government of Japan provided 80 public buses on the morning of June 19, 2018, as a grant from the Japanese Government to Phnom Penh Capital Hall.

The handover ceremony took place at the inauguration of the bus terminal in Prek Tara Ror village, Sangkat Prek Ta Sek, Khan Chroy Changva, and was presided over by HE Governor Khoung Sreng and the Japanese Ambassador to Cambodia.

Between 20,000 to 30,000 people use the buses per day, and 235 public buses travel on 13 routes.
