No Passport Australian Ready for Deportation
Phnom Penh: The Immigration Bureau of Phnom Penh received an Australian man from the police force of Daun Penh district without a passport/visa on 14th June 2019 at 08:30 am.
Police say the Australian man, MICHAEL CHARLES, a 49-year-old man, was also questioned and said he came Cambodia in 2017 through Phnom Penh International Airport. In May 2019, he lost his passport and visa and was unable to pay a visa extension fee.
With no accommodation and no passport, he has been sent to the Immigration Department to carry out the proceedings of the law.
