Cambodia See Off Pakistan in Qatar

Qatar: A first half goal from Hassan Bashir could have brought problems for Cambodia, who went into the 2nd leg of the FIFA World Cup Qualifier with a 2 goal advantage. Cambodia also had a penalty saved by the Pakistani keeper.

Honda’s side managed to find their form after the break with a 64th minute goal from Sath Rosib levelling the score on the night, but pushing home the advantage.

A last minute shot from Reung Bunheing sealed the deal leaving Cambodia 4-1 on aggregate.

The second round draw will take place on July 17, 2019 in Doha, Qatar.
