UPDATE: Many Dead in Crash and Fire on Road 4

Kampong Speu: A preliminary report says that on June 8, there was a serious accident on National Highway 4, between 85-86 km in Treng Trayueng, Phnom Sruoch District, Kampong Speu Province.

Details are unclear, but a large truck and Highlander are believed to have been involved. It is not clear whether there were any casualties.

UPDATE: Reports say between 8-11 people were killed and others wounded (accounts so far differ). A 24 seat bus and Highlander had the initial collision and the truck then hit both, causing a fire.

Three customs officials have been named among the dead.
