Chinese Kidnapper Arrested in Siem Reap

Siem Reap: The force of the Office of Investigation and Procedure of the Siem Reap Police Commissioner at 20.10 on June 7, 2019, received a suspect from the police force of the Siem Reap.

Police said that the offender was LYU FEIFEI, a 32-year-old Chinese man, wanted under an arrest order of Siem Reap Court of First Instance dated 19 April 29, 2019 for the unlawful detention or unlawful arrest for the purpose of extortion that took place on 12-13 July 2018 in Poipet, Banteay Meanchey Province.

The suspect was arrested at the airport as he tried to leave the country.

Samnang Rattanak, prosecutor of the Trial Chamber of Siem Reap, ordered to be detained at the provincial police station will be sent to the Siem Reap court on Saturday morning.
